Sugdidi 2025 Peace Project
From July 12 to 20, 2025
The Sugdidi Peace Project by Eurythmy4you is a heartfelt initiative to discover the beauty and significance of Eurythmy and make it accessible worldwide.
Sugdidi Peace Project 2025
As part of the project, we want to bring together 30 dedicated course leaders from Asia, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, and English-speaking countries in Georgia.
There, they will contribute their expertise as psychologists, educators, therapists, and therapeutic eurythmists to further develop our ABSR and HSP courses – focusing on family relationships, health, and trauma healing.
Help to make this peace project possible so that the healing power of eurythmy can continue to take root and become effective worldwide.
Courses for Parents
The course leaders will work together to develop the well-established ABSR exercises in such a way that parents can participate in the 8-week course online or on-site and do the exercises as designed for adults themselves. At the same time, they will be shown how they can do similar playful exercises with their children so that they are part of the process in a free and creative way.
These courses should improve the health and stress situation of the parents, support the child in its specific challenges (health, trauma, or high sensitivity), and increase the bond between parents and children in a healing way.
Eurythmy for the World
During the week, we aim to do a lot of eurythmy to improve artistic creativity, and to convey eurythmy with confidence and inner truth. At the end of the week, we will present what we have developed during the week to the public during a public eurythmy day with eurythmy and ABSR workshops for adults and children.
The day will conclude with a demonstration of the eurythmy pieces we have been working on in German, English, and Russian, as well as tone eurythmy. This will be completed by pieces performed by professional eurythmists from Georgia and our team.
East-West Peace Project
A third objective is to unite our Russian, Ukrainian, German, and English-speaking course leaders in a peace project during a time when such encounters are rarely possible. We have chosen Sugdidi, as Russian is well understood in this area, and also our Ukrainian team member speak Russian very well. We know that this can be a challenge, but we are all ready do our best.
Shaping the Future
Eurythmy4you cannot yet offer free invitations to its team. Nevertheless, we feel not only the urge but also the potential to bring eurythmy in a new and meaningful way. This project in Sugdidi will again be an important step forward to reach this goal over time.

🎶 Eurythmy Workshop in Helsinki
A Journey into the Mystery of the Feminine Earth
When Schubert’s Ave Maria begins to sound, it is as if time itself softens. The music opens an inner space where soul and world breathe together. We are drawn into reverence, into listening—and into a deeper movement: one that invites us to walk an inner path. Our weekend workshop brings together Eurythmy, Tone Eurythmy, meditative study, and spiritual conversation. We will follow the thread of Schubert's Ave Maria into the presence of three feminine archetypes—the Three Madonnas, or Three Mothers—and their living connection to the soul's journey through the Nine Layers of the Earth, as described in esoteric spiritual science.
Together, we will explore:
- The path and soul-tone of Schubert’s Ave Maria through movement and listening.
- The Three Madonnas: Virgin Light, Compassionate Wisdom, and Transforming Darkness
- The Nine Earth Layers: not only as metaphoric images, but as lived inner realms
- The healing and moral strength that can arise from moving prayer, shared presence, and spiritual imagination

🕯️ Workshop Place and Atmosphere
This weekend offers a shared inner process. We will move. We will listen. We will speak and stay silent. We will open space to feel what lives between the tones of Schubert’s Ave Maria, and what is born when we try to follow and move it from within.
You do not need any prior knowledge of Eurythmy. What matters is the desire to listen, to move with meaning, and to take part in a shared, sincere exploration of music, soul, and the depth of the Feminine Earth.
The workshop takes place at Marjatta-Koulu, which offers the ideal surrounding for this endeavour.
MARJATTA-KOULU, Poutuntie 12, 00400 Helsinki
✨ The Three Madonnas — Archetypes of Soul and Earth
Throughout the weekend, we will return again and again to the feminine archetypes that guide and shape the soul’s journey:
-
The Young Madonna – the light-filled gaze of innocence.
She greets the soul as it enters the world, carrying the brightness of the upper realms: ether, sound, and weightlessness. Her gesture is one of sacred receptivity – tender, open, and new. In Schubert’s Ave Maria, she shines in the pure, ascending invocation: gratia plena… -
The Middle Madonna – silent compassion in the heart of suffering.
She stands beneath the Cross, not speaking, but bearing. In the middle layers of the Earth and soul, where conflict, trial, and transformation unfold, she holds space with quiet strength. In the music, she breathes through the deepening harmonies and rising melodic arches – shaping beauty through pain. -
The Black Madonna – the radiant one of the deep.
She dwells in the lowest layers of the Earth – where fear, guilt, and death are faced. Yet she is not dark from absence, but because she holds the fullness of what must become light. She is the guardian of transformation, the power that does not condemn, but transmutes. In Schubert’s music, she resounds in the gravity of minor keys, in the solemn rhythm, in the echo that lingers. She is the presence that embraces even the deepest shadow – and leads it toward compassion.
Their presence will guide our movement and meditation as we pass through the Nine Earth Layers, which mirror our inner descent and transformation—from the living mineral layer through regions of fragmentation, opposition, and finally toward moral rebirth.
👥 Workshop Leaders
Nita Matchalov and Laura Pellinen will guide the group on site. They are young dedicated eurythmy students from Helsinki. In addition to their formal studies, they are certified leaders of the Eurythmy4you HSP course and have shown a deep personal commitment to spiritual movement work and the question of the feminine in our time.
They have taken on a significant responsibility: to lead the artistic development of Ave Maria at our upcoming Sugdidi Peace Festival in Georgia. There, they will guide an international team of over 30 people in creating a two-voiced tone eurythmy performance that weaves together movement, meaning, and presence.Working with a group that includes both eurythmists and non-eurythmists will enrich their experience and open up new perspectives. This is not only a bold step artistically, but also an opportunity for them to grow into a task that calls for both leadership and inner maturity.
The Helsinki workshop is a special moment on that path. It is their first opportunity to share this work in depth with a public group. As participants, you will be among the first to receive the fruits of their research: the emerging choreography, the spiritual depth of mindful movement, the questions they are living with. In a way, you are being invited into a space where something truly new is being born.
This event also serves as a fundraiser for the Sugdidi Peace Festival, where their work will unfold further. We are proud to stand beside them, and grateful for their trust in taking on this challenge. Their sincerity, sensitivity, and thoughtful leadership offer something that touches — quietly, but clearly — the heart of what eurythmy can become today.
Theodor Hundhammer and Ilse Hönig will join via Zoom.
Theodor Hundhammer, founder of Eurythmy4you, will guide participants through deeper layers of spiritual eurythmy, with a focus on the inner journey through the esoteric Earth layers. His work opens up pathways of perception where movement becomes a bridge between soul and cosmos.
Ilse Hönig has been part of Eurythmy4you from the very beginning. She brings her quiet, contemplative strength to the workshop — offering meditative insights on the Three Madonnas, the Earth layers, and the mystery of inner transformation. Her video reflections on Kolchis and the Golden Fleece offer a glimpse into the spiritual geography that underlies this project.
Donate
Please help that we can conduct the Sugdidi Peace Festival successfully.
As not all participants are able to cover their own travelling expenses and the costs for the workshop, Eurythmie4you still needs about18,000 euros to be able to conduct the workshop without substantial financial loss.
We kindly ask you to support us in this endeavour. With team members from 13 countries, including Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Finland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South Africa and England, we will work on further developing the ABSR courses based on ‘Nervousness and Ego’ and opening them up for new areas of application.
We are grateful for every donation.
As a thank you, our donors will be exclusively connected to the final performance via livestream.
Thank you so much to our Asian Donors
You've already donated 1200 Euro's to our great project!
As a thank you, you will all be invited to our live performance in Sugdidi on 19 June.
As Mikan is abroad for a few days, your name will be added as soon as she is back!

A Generous Gift
Ilse Hönig and her daughter Helene Roitinger are donating their Large Soprano Lyre by Lothar Gärtner! The current new price for such a Large Gärtner Soprano Lyre (polished) is over 4,850 Euros.
This large soprano lyre from the workshop of Lothar Gärtner carries a special story within it.
In the summer of 1980, it was personally selected by Gudrun Jenny, a pioneer of Waldorf education, at Lothar Gärtner’s workshop. On her journey to Konstanz by Lake Constance, she was accompanied by Ilse (37) and her children Martin (12) and Helene (8).
With her powerful presence and inspiring spirit, Gudrun shaped the lives of many children and adults; her humor and her lyre were always by her side. Her choice back then was a soprano lyre with dark, lustrous wood, a soft sound, and fine overtones — clear in expression and warm in fullness. It accompanied Gudrun through many years of lyre teaching.
Upon her retirement, Gudrun handed over the lyre teaching to her student, Ilse’s daughter Helene. She was able to work fruitfully with Ilse for a few more years. Now lovingly cared for by Ilse, the lyre awaits someone to bring it back to life.
Now Ilse feels it’s the right time to pass it on — as a gift to Eurythmy4you, to help make the peace project in Georgia possible.
Option 1: Donate the Lyre for Music Therapy Work with Alla’s Team
By donating this Gärtner lyre, you’ll give it the chance to start a new journey — for a good cause. Donate 1,500 Euros and we’ll send the lyre to Odessa, even if others would offer more to buy it for themselves!
If you’d like to donate the lyre to Odessa, please send an email to: info@eurythmy4you.com
If the video doesn’t play, please try a different browser.
Option 2: Acquire the Lyre for Yourself or an Institution Near You
Would you like to learn to play the lyre yourself, or refresh your playing? Is there a therapeutic facility, Waldorf kindergarten, or curative education institution nearby? Don’t hesitate to acquire this special lyre for a good cause — and name your offer.
Our desired price is 2,000 Euros. But since its value is much higher due to its unique story and as a supporter of the Eurythmy Peace Project, you are welcome to offer more. If your budget doesn’t allow, you’re also welcome to try with less.
Send your offer to: info@eurythmy4you.com
Let this soul-warming lyre resonate again and help make our project a reality.
All proceeds from this action go entirely to our peace project in Sugdidi, where we’ll develop new course elements that can benefit the whole family.

Interview with Dr. Michaela Glöckler
We are very pleased to announce a special interview with Dr. Michaela Glöckler – an internationally recognized doctor and long-time advocate of anthroposophical medicine.
Your Path to Holistic Health
The topic of the conversation is the profound significance of eurythmy as a path to holistic health – for the individual, for our society, and for the future of the Earth.
We will specifically address the healing potential of ABSR and HSP courses from a doctor's perspective, and explore their potential for stress and trauma management as well as for highly sensitive people. We will also discuss the possibilities of delivering eurythmy online and on-site.

Replay 2, hosted for Chinese participants by Esther, Mikan Xuan, and Theodor
The interview is conducted by Marina Kuznetsova, course leader at Eurythmy4you. It is part of our Eurythmy4you project in Sugdidi, which focuses on the transformative power of eurythmy for personal development, for society, and for the future of the Earth.
Together with Dr. Glöckler, we explore important questions of our time:
- What are the special characteristics of our time – and how can eurythmy help people today?
- What significance does eurythmy have in light of salutogenesis – that is, a healthy way of life?
- Why do the ABSR courses (Anti-Stress Course) and HSP (for Highly Sensitive People) help people find themselves?
- Highly sensitive people – what observations and thoughts does Michaela Glöckler have about this group that she would like to share with us?
This conversation is much more than an interview – it is an inspiring contribution to the question of how we as human beings can live healthy, awake, and compassionate lives amidst the challenges of our time.
It is aimed at therapists, educators, parents, highly sensitive people – and anyone who is looking for inner guidance and new vitality.

The Secrets of the Golden Fleece
Colchis and the Golden Fleece
On the Journey to the Golden Soul
What do you know about the theft of the Golden Fleece from Colchis and the trials that had to be faced? What do you make of the miracles that occurred and the many terrible things that happened?
But what is it really about? What are its mystical backgrounds that echo through the legends of Christian Rosenkreuz and the medieval Order of the Golden Fleece?
What forward-looking impulses for therapeutic practice are interwoven with the golden fleece? What is the significance of its geographical location in ancient Colchia, the land of Sugdidi?
The Mysticism of the Golden Fleece
Forward-Looking Impulses for Therapeutic Practice
Ilse Hönig - Theodor Hundhammer
Recording from December 13, 2024
Are you familiar with the tale of the Argonauts? What do you know about the theft of the Golden Fleece from Colchis, and about the trials that had to be overcome? What do you think of the miracles that took place, and the many terrible things that happened along the way?
But what is it really about? What are the mystical backgrounds that echo in the legends surrounding Christian Rosenkreuz and the medieval Order of the Golden Fleece?
Ilse Hönig has been part of Eurythmy4you from the very beginning. She will explore these questions together with Theodor, and you are warmly invited to think and feel along with them.

On the Journey to the Golden Soul
Interview on the Secrets of the Golden Fleece (Part 2)
Ilse Hönig - Theodor Hundhammer
Recording from Sunday, February 2, 2025
In this interview, Ilse and Theodor delve into the Earth mysteries of early Colchis, which leads us to the nine earth layers and the social challenges associated with them today.
This takes us to the Three Mothers (White, Red, and Black Madonna) and what we owe to them.
Of course, we will also ask about the interaction between Buddha and Christ, the major theme in the later Colchis.
This will lead us to the question: How do I find the good? This is also the theme of the so-called warmth meditation for anthroposophical doctors, which we will approach together at the end using eurythmy.
Our motto is what Rudolf Steiner urges doctors to do in the eurythmy therapy course: ‘We walk towards becoming’.
👉 Help us carry out the Sugdidi Peace Project to strengthen the impact of Eurythmy in the world:
The timetable shows how we work in parallel working groups on the ABSR courses we have developed and finally present them as public workshops. Through the artistic work we promote teamwork, the connection to eurythmy and the self-confidence to teach it.
