Teachers and topics
We will work in parallel, especially in smaller groups. Part of the programme is shared; part runs in focal areas and working groups. Here is an overview of the planned topic fields:
Theodor
How does movement in space become a deep experience – and how do I connect with others in movement? To this end, we use simple exercises, basic musical gestures and a fundamental form of tone eurythmy.
Christiane
How can I use eurythmy to get into the flow and incorporate the four types of ether into my movement in such a way that it creates sound? To this end, we will explore the theme and the 3rd and 4th variations of Mozart’s Piano Sonata in A major, K. 331.
Nino
Together, we explore the therapeutic aspects of eurythmy through simple exercises, which we accompany with gestures or movements in the space. We do this alternately on an individual basis or in groups. In doing so, we draw entirely on the perceptions of those present and our own experiences as we go along.
Anastasiia
How does music bring the eurythmy stick exercises to life, making them feel light and joyful? We’ll be doing the 12-part, 7-part and improvised stick exercises to music from The Nutcracker Suite and Scott Joplin’s ‘Palm Leaf Rag’. For speech eurythmy, we’ll be performing a funny poem using vowels in our legs.
Esther
Through individual exercises and group movements to music, we discover how we can connect with others whilst at the same time becoming more in touch with ourselves. We experience the joy of meaningful movement and share it with others.
Martin
How do I find the ethereal in the world, and how in eurythmy? We discover its ordered qualities in the myriad forms found in nature, learn the scientific principles behind them, and move on to practical application.
