The Concept Behind the Course

Balance in Imbalance

In one way or another, we are all one-sided. You could almost say that we are made up of a collection of imbalances. But we have the ability to bring them into harmony. When we do, a subtle balance arises between these imbalances. We experience a sense of calm, and something within us speaks—something no longer shaped by unconscious values from our upbringing or past traumas.

The zodiac is the archetype of balance within imbalance. Its archetypal images and forces stand out because they have nothing in common, yet together they form a complete whole. This allows not only the recognition of one-sidedness but also its transformation.

Applied to psychology, the challenges of different personality tendencies can be structured according to the zodiac and explored through eurythmy. Each sign carries its own disposition. For example, one might ask:

  • What spatial orientation is present?
  • How does it relate to the emotional, volitional, or cognitive level?

By sensing and moving through these levels, imbalances become tangible and easier to recognize in daily life. In our course, we call this “Difficult People”—individuals who challenge us through their fixation on specific imbalances. How can we engage with them constructively without losing our own balance?

Yod Quincunx AriesRestoring Resonance

And this is where it gets exciting. How can I bring a zodiac sign that has fallen out of balance back to its resonant archetype? We will show you how each zodiac sign draws its inner strength from its predecessor—while its corrective influence comes from the sign in quincunx (the signs to the left and right of its opposition sign).

Together, we will explore all the constellations, share our experiences, and develop something completely new—something that has never existed before but is highly likely to be very effective: the conscious integration of a spiritual dimension into therapy. We’d love for you to join us as we open new doors together.

Acknowledgement: Our research into the interrelationship of eurythmy zodiac gestures and their potential to counter one-sided personal imbalances was initially inspired by William Bento’s work on the role of anatomic planes in shaping personality (The Counselor, D. Tresemer, W. Bento, E. Knighton, 2015).
