Eurythmy 2: «I think speech» exercises

I think speech,
I speak,
I have spoken,
I seek myself in the spirit,
I feel myself within myself,
I am on the way to the spirit to myself.
R. Steiner

The exercise "I think the speech" is a eurythmy exercise that harmonises the soul and that may also work therapeutically. If, because of high sensitivity, the inner soul is so disrupted that it expresses itself bodily in all sorts of metabolic weakness, this exercise is an excellent harmonising eurythmy therapy exercise. This is especially so when these gestures are done consecutively one after the other.

For this reason, we recommend that you perform the exercise as shown in the video: You feel the character behind you, almost as if an angel were to do it for you. Then you step back into this space and sensibly penetrate it with your gesture. Then the next character, etc.

The other variations shown in the video also have a soothing, harmonising effect

In our course Eurythmic Meditations you can see a Supplementary video by Jean Luc Berthoud where you learn what else you may pay attention to in this movement meditation..
