The world`s abundance

How your perceptiveness may become a strength.

Your gift of perception enables you to be more alert. On the other hand, your openness can also lead to overstimulation with accompanying restlessness and exhaustion.

How do you manage to handle your great perceptual talent in such a way that you don’t have to close yourself off, but can experience the world in all its sensual fullness? 

Compared to what surrounds you, your experiences only take up a small part. Despite the multitude of things that beset you, that is actually still little. When you notice this, you can try to use your sense organs more consciously. Then you learn to perceive your environment in a deeper, not pressing, but liberating way. You start to feel at home in your surroundings.

The key to this is astonishment. It is a mental activity that leads out of the passivity of the senses. It helps you to consciously use your ability to perceive from within, instead of being controlled by external impressions.   

With astonishment, the depth of the world will open up to you more and more. And you will find the stimuli surrounding you, less and less oppressive.

Open up to the world around and in yourself in all its fullness!
